10Grad Program Policies
- 80 credits minimum to graduate (48 required
course credits, 28 elective credits, 4 credit
Graduation Transition Plan) - Grade 10 courses are part of the Graduation
Program - 5 Graduation Program Exams

- English 10 (20)
- Mathematics 10 (or 10E) (20)
- Science 10 (20)
- Social Studies 11 (20)
- English 12 (or Com. 12) (40)
- Final mark a blend of school marks and
provincial exam mark (e.g. Math 10 80 school
mark 20 Exam Mark)

- Students will have the option of writing grade 12
Provincial exams in the following subjects - Exam 40 of the Final Mark
- Writing the exam required by some post-secondary
programs.

16Graduation Transitions Plan
- Students in grades 10-12 must complete the
following mandatory standards - 150 minutes/week of Daily Physical Activity
- A graduation transition plan that will help
students set goals for post-secondary education
or career pursuits - 30 hours of work experience or community service.
- A Graduation Transition Plan Interview
- Students who meet the standards will receive four
credits that count towards graduation - Grade given will be Requirement Met (RM)

- The final Transition Plan and Interview will be
coordinated through the Career Development
Department - Portfolio Managers (by alpha), Planning 10
teachers, and counsellors will provide
coordination support

38Grade 12 Provincial Scholarships
- Students who have 86 or higher on 3 Grade 12
Provincial Exams are eligible for a 1,000
scholarship (no application required). - Eligible students must earn at least a 'B' (73 -
85) in English 12 or Communications 12. - The top 20 students are awarded 2,500 each.
