CASRE Tutorial

What you need to use ?

• A clock or watch.
• Paper and pencil.
• Windows Notepad, or any text editor you like.
• CASRE software.

How to test?

• Write down the time you want to start testing.
• Conduct the test cases one by one. Record the
  time whenever you finish one test case.
• When you find an error, go to the codes, and fix
  it before you record the time.

How to test (cont.)?

• Keep doing all test cases until you finish them.
  You can do your tests in several different days,
  but you need to record your starting time
  accordingly.
• After finishing whole test sets, assign an
  appropriate time interval for them.

How do I use the CASRE?

• In C\casre\TESTDATA folder, you can find sample
  test data files.
• You need to organize your test data in the format
  like this. (please see the next page)

How to use the CASRE? (Cont.)

• CASRE will plot those points for you.
• Since we do not have HELP file and Models
  installed in the open lab, we cannot practice
  those estimation.
• You can download the User guide from my home
  page, and get CASRE3.0 from their company for
  free.
