Title: Status of integration and debugging of the TPD

1
Status of integration and debugging of the TPD
  • Mauro Menichelli
  • INFN Perugia

2
The TPD used for the test beam at CERN I
  • We received the TPD that was used in the Beam
    test at CERN
  • The TPD was integrated using EM mechanics and no
    connectors.
  • It includes a full set of QM2 converters (4 9051,
    2 9053 and 2 9055)
  • It includes no S9011AT and a QM1 S9011B

Problems with present cabling
  • It has 28-RTN connected to chassis
  • Internal shields not connected
  • It has a criticality on the position of the
panduit for the 28V and the 28-RTN in the power
    bar.
  • Proposed solutionremoval of the two internal
    power bar and cable re-arrangement.

Added S9051 S only

All DC/DC converters

Efforts to solve the problem
  • From previous experience we started with twisting
and shielding the cable of the S9051K
  • This did not solved the problem, however the
situation is not 100 the same with the previous
prototype we need to separate 28-RTN from chassis
  • Breaking news After the separation of 28-RTN
    from chassis the noise disappeared.
  • After this problem fully understood we will begin
    TPD QM2 integration
  • TPD-GSE ready need to test the communication with
    QM2 S9011AT.
