The client is a 2 billion assembler/configurer
of complex equipment used in office environments,
with a complementary supplies business and a
major service parts distribution operation.
Believing they were operating their central
distribution center in a high-priced area of the
U.S., away from a mainstream logistics
infrastructure, they were in the process of
assessing a new CDC location in the Midwest.
CONSULTANTS ROLE
Determine the key requrements of each supply
chain equipment, supplies and service parts
and confirm or deny the strategy upon which the
company was focusing.
