Our Primary Focus

• Our Primary Focus following a crisis situation is
  the emotional and psychological wellbeing of your
  employees.
• We can help them regain their sense of balance to
  enable them get back to work quickly following a
  crisis event.

Priority 1 Situations

• We consider the following list of situations as
  examples of priority 1 events requiring our
  assistance.

• Assaulted Staff
• Assaulted Facility
• Associate on site serious injury
• Associate death or suicide
• Colleague death or suicide

• Hate crime
• Natural disaster
• Bomb or terrorist threat
• Workplace threat
• Workplace violence
• Any major incident evoking emotional upheaval

When we are notified of an emergency situation at
your location

• Chaplain Richardson will call to assess the
  situation and whether an emergency response
  chaplain is needed.
• If an emergency response (ER) chaplain is
  dispatched
• The ER Chaplain will meet with the manager to
  discuss a plan of action. The typical plan of
  action is to gather all employees who were
  involved in or affected by the emergency/crisis.
• The ER Chaplain will share information on how to
  deal with critical incident stress and offer to
  meet 1 to 1 with employees if they request a
  personal meeting.
• Issues of religion or spirituality will be
  addressed only at the request of the employee.

What you can expect from us

• The ER Chaplain will report directly to Chaplain
  Richardson, Director of Chaplain Services
  International (CSI).
• Chaplain Richardson will schedule a follow up
  contact from the Chaplain Services office to
  assess whether there is a need for further
  assistance.
• There is no cost to the store or employee for
  those under contract with CSI.
• All conversations are confidential unless there
  is evidence of extreme peril to or by the
  employee or peril to the company.
