Title: microMEGA presentation
1Regional clustering and networking as innovation
drivers IV Working Group meeting 24-25 October
2007 Stuttgart
T.O.S.C.A., Tecnologie On-line per la gestione e
lo sviluppo competitivo della Supply Chain
Alimentare
2Context
The project is based on ICT solutions for supply
chain logistic management at the base of
productive processes in wine sector. Participants
come from Franciacorta wine district and are
mostly SMEs with relevant weakness both in term
of logistic structure and information
systems. This is a common condition in Italy
where SMEs often dont have an organized logistic
structure or sources to invest in advanced
solutions. Those elements made us develop a
project for the implementation of ICT solutions
for logistic management to be shared by companies
through Internet (ASP modes Application Service
Provisioning).
