• Clarification on military leave FMLA regulations
  and updates to non-military FMLA regulations
• US Dept of Labor released final FMLA provisions
  and there are quite a few changed that will go
  into effect on January 16, 2009
• We are currently reviewing all of the changes and
  will provide summary information and guidance
  within the next month
• We are developing additional FMLA leave forms
  that pertain to military FMLA leave

• SWIB announced preliminary investment returns as
  of November 30, 2008 Core -28.3 Variable
  -40.9.
• Per ETF, if Core Returns are -26 to -30, 2008
  Core Effective Interest Rate will be 3.5 to 2.5
  and Core Annuity Adjustment will be -2.5 to
  -3.5
• Effective 12-5-08, ETF will be using an assumed
  -40 2008 variable interest rate for employees
  with a 2009 retirement date. ETF will NOT be
  sending notices to employees who already received
  estimates with the -30 estimated interest rate.
