Title: Make a Difference
1Make a Difference
2Each one should use whatever gift he has received
to serve others, faithfully administering Gods
grace in its various forms. 1Peter 4 10
3SERVING is the key to making a difference in
someones life.
4People who do not believe are living all around
you. You are to live such good lives that they
will see the good things you do and will give
glory to God. I Peter 212
5To be a Christ like example, our lives must
reflect a SUBMISSIVE attitude.
6 SUBMISSION having the courage to give up my
rights to meet another person's needs.
7Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you
live with your wives. 1Peter 3 7
8Unselfish actions involve SACRIFICE.
91 Peter 5
- 1To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow
elder, a witness of Christs sufferings and one
who also will share in the glory to be revealed
2Be shepherds of Gods flock that is under your
care, serving as overseersnot because you must,
but because you are willing, as God wants you to
be not greedy for money, but eager to serve
3not lording it over those entrusted to you, but
being examples to the flock.
101 Peter 5
- 4And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will
receive the crown of glory that will never fade
away. 5Young men, in the same way be submissive
to those who are older. All of you, clothe
yourselves with humility toward one another,
because, - God opposes the proud
- but gives grace to the humble.
11"To be the greatest, be a servant. Matthew 2311
12Choose DESIRE over duty.
13Choose GIVING over getting.
14"He gives generously to those in need. His deeds
will never be forgotten. He shall have influence
and honor. Psalm 1129
15Choose being an EXAMPLE over being in control.
