- Objectives
- To develop theory and practice for technologies
that allow immersive VISUALIZATION of REAL PLACES
for moving observer. - To study the theory of PRESENCE and inform
technological development through intensive
series of MEASUREMENTS of the sense of presence.
- Expected Results
- An increased support for sense of presence
achieved through 11 demonstrators which gradually
expand the range of user mobility. - New avenues opened and explored - technologically
and empirically - providing new insight into
important aspects of presence, and
opening for new products for use in services
and edutainment.
