  • Create a new job description (If one does not
    exist)
  • Create a job opportunity from the description.
  • Create a pending visit request from the job
    opportunity.
  • From the pending request summary choose Create
    Visit.

Recruiter Task Overview
  • Wait for students to drop resumes
  • Choose desirable candidates from the dropped
    resumes by moving them from TBD to Invite or
    Alternate Invite.
  • After the resume due date is passed and there are
    slots on the schedule the recruiter may process
    the list.

  • Determine if the company is going to be allowed
    to process invite lists or if the system or
    administrators are going to process the lists.
    Set the appropriate default on the company and in
    the application properties

  • Approve pending visit request for the correct
    date and section count (room availability)
  • Generate a schedule after approving and creating
    a visit or after the recruiter creates the visit.
  • Process visit per normal methods. (Run
    Wingen/Auto schedule/Open the schedule up)

Steps for Job Offers
  • Set MBACSCReportingDeadline to '2008-10-01
    000000.000'
  • Set this to the date of the MBA CSC
    Deadline.Default is XXXX-10-01 where XXXX is the
    current calendar year.Needs to be set to the
    current calendar year.We recommend it to be set
    to the next year(i.e. 2008 SY recruiting is
    done.' I.e. '2008-10-01 000000.000'
  • Set the "add job offer" menu item link to the
    viewing roles that is/are allowed to enter
    permanent job offers.
  • After first year recruiting time has passed then
    set the "add job offer link" on the menu to
    allow the first year viewing role.
  • As an additional closing of a loophole would be
    to tie the "add job offer" link in job opp/visits
    tables to the viewing role of the add job offer
    menu item so that first years cannot add a job
    offer until the "add job offer" menu item is
    enabled for that role.
  • If an job offer(permanent or intership) is
    entered and the date entered is after or on the
    MBACSCReportingDeadline and the accepted date is
    before the MBACSCReportingDeadline then the
    previous reporting period will be applied to the
    job offer. The student will then be brought back
    to the job offers summary page.
  • If the offer was an internship they can now click
    on the "Enter Related Offer" link to enter the
    permanent offer. Providing this functionality
    will also allow student who didn't get back to
    the web site before the reporting period changed
    to a enter a job for the previous reporting
    period.
