TRS Background Scope

• TRS is the Transaction Reporting System, a
  Government-wide financial information transaction
  portal, being developed by Treasury/FMS in
  conjunction with FRB St. Louis
• Federal revenue collection transactions processed
  by FMS systems

Architecture

• Consists of a transaction broker, an enterprise
  data warehouse and several customized data marts
• Architecture will be based on standard data
  warehousing products
• ETL (Extract/Transform/Load)
• BI (Business Intelligence)
• DBMS (database management system)
• Utilize Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products
  in all possible cases
