- InfoComm has been an industry leader in
certification since 1981 - There are more than 9,000 current Certified
Technology Specialists (CTS) - Two levels of certification
- General
- Specialized (Design, Installation)
- Renewal Units Certification must be renewed
every 3 years with continuing education units

- InfoComm is currently in the process of seeking
accreditation for its Certified Technology
Specialist (CTS) certifications under ISO/IEC
17024 accreditation as administered by ANSI
(American National Standards Institute) in the
US. - ANSI, a private, nonprofit organization,
accredits other organizations to serve as
third-party product, system and personnel
certifiers. - ISO/IEC 17024 plays a prominent role in
facilitating global standardization of the
certification community, increasing mobility
among countries, enhancing public safety, and
protecting consumers.
