Bureau of Statistics relies on Secondary Data/

is thoroughly examined/ processed and then it is
made reliable and useful for the users. It also
serves to harmonize the data on different
variables so that uniform and authentic
information could be used by all the line
departments, Research workers Administrators and
PDD in planning process. (List of users at
Annexure B)
8
The Provincial Government needs a Bureau of
Statistics to have effective control over
information and statistics relating to
development planning and serve to centralize the
preservations and dissemination of these data.
Bureau of Statistics in other Provinces is so
structural that they are an entity in themselves
but in case of Balochistan the Bureau of
Statistics is under developed. It is lagging in
terms of expertise, resources and their abilities
to generate statistics relating to the formation.
