John Fisher recommended this website. John, a
founding member of the TECH Committee, retired
last year. He and his wife Lorraine moved to
Nanaimo, BC. John reports that We have just
about been here for 1 year now and it has been a
busy time. We became fans of the Nanaimo Clippers
Jr A hockey team and attended all of their home
games. I have talked with their coach and might
help out in some capacity next year. I play golf
3 times a week with a group of retired teachers
and Lorraine is involved with various painting,
crafts, book club and walking groups. We also
took in some baseball and soccer games at the
University of Vancouver Island .  Still follow
the Oilers and Eskies although the Canucks have a
team that might contend this year. Thanks for
