• Ball cages are added between a guide pin and
  bushing, for example add guide pin from plate 8
  bottom face (pin diameter 10) into plate 6,7 and
  up to plate 9 then add a bushing in plate 67
  but create the bushing with bigger diameter
  (bushing internal dia 14)then add ball cages
  with internal diameter (10) and external diameter
  (14) (again on plate 6,7) between the pin and
  the bushing (the dimensions are just examples).

• Deflection Elements are used to connect cooling
  pipes when we need to move from plate to plate.
  For example if I have two core inserts in one
  pocket and I need the cooling cycle go into both
  of them I will add the Deflection Element - on
  the bottom face of the core insert pocket (inside
  plate 3), - one hole under core insert 1 and
  - the other hole under core insert 2, so the
  water will go from insert 1 through the
  Deflection Element into insert 2.

• Eye screws are used to lift the mold into the
  injection machine, or to lift any plate, use it
  on any side face of the plate. First create a
  lifting hole with needed diameter, then add the
  eye screw with the same diameter on that hole.

• Inclined Pin Retainer added to hold in place an
  Inclined pin (slides pin for example). It is
  used when the upper plate is very thick and you
  cannot (do not want) to drill a hole through the
  plate. This part is a small rectangle box with
  angled hole in it. We create a small pocket in
  the plate, insert a pin into the retainer and
  connect the Inclined Pin Retainer to the plate
  with screws (pocket created automatically)

• Locking Blocks are used when we have a moving
  part in the mold and we need to close and hold
  them in the right position. It is a part with
  one angled face usually added under plate 2, so
  when the mold closes down, it push the moved part
  into place and when the mold is totally closed,
  it holds the moving part in place.

• Date Stamps are used to mark a date (month, year,
  day etc) on the plastic part. Usually added on
  the core/cavity inserts (its cylinder with a
  mark on top of it)

• Set screws can be used as a stopper for example
  if we have a slide and we need to limit the
  slide movement we will add the set screw in the
  slide groove so when the slide reaches the screw
  it will stop. Usually added from plate 3 bottom
  face into the slide groove.
• Springs are added on the mold return pins
  (ejectors). Added from plate 6 into plate 9
  (some times up to) can be added on the ejectors
  so the spring internal diameter is bigger than
  the pin diameter. For spring there are two length
  parameters L and L0, L is the free (not pressed)
  spring length (set the catalog number). L0 is the
  spring length in its working not pressed
  position (the length when mold is closed) this
  length set the spring pocket length.
