One East Bay NSBE Jr. member, and an excellent
student, has been accepted for the 8th grade
Summer Engineering Workshop at Purdue
6/15-6/19/08 and we are very excited about his
participation. Allene Manning was instrumental
in encouraging me to refer my top members and
Cameron Cabading is going to be participating.
We are in the process of making flight
arrangements, etc. The picture, to the left, is
of Cameron with Michael Redman, PE - SF Alumni
Chapter volunteer who does all of our EDC
workshops.

Another member, also an excellent student, has
been accepted and awarded full scholarship to the
University of California Summer COSMOS 4-week
Program for high school students and we are also
very excited for him. James Finnie - also
pictured to the left- will spend 6/29 through
7/26 at UC San Diego. His parents will be driving
him to San Diego (approximately 450 miles from
the Bay Area).Michael has been a wonderful role
model to both of these young men and to all of
the members of our Chapter. East Bay NSBE Jr.
would not be who we are without Michael Redman.
