• Rosa Parks was born in Tuskegee, Alabama not far
  from Montgomery on February 4,1913.
• Rosa Parks died at the age of 92 at her home in
  Detroit, Michigan. Rosa Parks died on October 25,
  2005

• Rosa Parks was a big part in the civil rights
  movement. The movement was in the 1950s.

• One day when Rosa Parks was riding the bus and a
  white man got on the bus and there were no more
  seats so the bus driver said get up or I will
  call the cops. She was arrested and put in jail.

• Thanks to Rosa Parks we can do every thing
  together with black people. Now we can ride the
  bus with them and share restaurants and go to
  school with them and we can like them without
  getting shot!! ?
