Fund (2007-2013), has been allocated to research
and innovation. - INNOBAROMETER 2006 desired innovation support
is lower then currently provided. - Good practice may not be good enough anymore.

5What does fast track mean for RAPIDE? A Two-way
bridge
- The fast track projects (FTP) should contribute
to the implementation of the OP. - The MA should take the initiatives of the FTP
into consideration when implementing the OP. - FTP should capitalise on experience. How to
bring better practices and ideas into action
through mainstream OPs? - All MA of the project partners need to be part
of the FTP. - Working on the basis of Regional Action Plans is
essential. Develop outcomes and products not only
in the end!

- Participation at the meetings, providing
expertise and support - to the working methods, definition of the
outcomes - Promotion of peer review
- Providing information on the topic
- studies, policy documents, past and forthcoming
events, contacts to other networks and
institutions
7What does fast track mean for RAPIDE?
Communication and dissemination
- Transparency
- Need to share information already at an early
stage in order to learn from each other. - Capitalise experience and better practices
- Present experiences in a very practical and
transferrable way. - Avoid abstract descriptions, focus the exchange
on actions. - FTPs will be given more visibility on European
level - EU-wide presentation (conferences, events,
websites etc.)
