Status of work

• EU Tender 112 center eCall (MSD, position and
  abuse avoidance)
• Development of digital network between 112-center
  and emergency operators (MSD and position) 
• Realisation of system for car-data on location of
  the incident for emergency operators. (in
  cooperation with FOCWA and RDW) 
• Selection of call-center to handle the FSD
• Formalize role, tasks and responsibilities
  between call center and dispatch centers of
  emergency operators
• Research on implementations hazardous goods
  transport of eCall
• MOU signed

Open issues

• Investigation broader use of location based calls
  within government
• Use of call-center for tracking and tracing
  transport of hazardous goods (multiple use of
  e-call-infrastructure)
• Test with GIS info system in crises center and
  dispatch center for emergency services (police,
  ambulance and firebrigades).

• Start of in-car GST pilot and demo of eCall in
  2006 in region Haaglanden
• ITS-NL implementation forum eCall
