• The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE root key has five subkeys
• HARDWARE
• SAM
• SECURITY
• SOFTWARE
• SYSTEM

Regedt32.exe

• Installed in systemroot\System32 directory.
• Most users dont need to use it.
• Used for troubleshooting, not configuring.
• Saves data automatically as you edit.
