• What is Enterprise?

• To be enterprising is to be willing to innovate
  and initiate bold, new ventures in conditions of
  uncertainty.

  likely to succeed in self-employment and more
  able to handle many of the life challenges they
  will face.

• in your R.S. lessons today!

• The whole day - off time table on Wednesday
• Build Up your Business
• Will introduce you all to a real life scenario.
• Gain communication listening skills
• Experience working with others

• The 5 Challenge
• Come to this hall 2nd break on Friday and tell us
  how you propose to increase your 5
• If we like your idea we will give you 5
• Youll have 3 weeks to be as enterprising as you
  can and make as much money as you can
• Use your 5 to buy your ingredients or what ever
  you need to make or manufacture something you
  can sell

• The 5 Challenge
• You might chose to offer a service
• But!!!! This must be legal and not immoral!
• On the last day of term return your 5 to us and
  prove your profit
• Wed like half your profit (or more) to go to Red
  Nose Day.
• The winners will be the ones who have had the
  most enterprising ideas and who made the most
  money according to the judges i.e. the
  Enterprise Team.

• The Prize
• A local company have offered to give the winners
  a trip round their company, a business lunch and
  a goody bag
• The Team will award a large cash prize to the
  overall winner

• There are other events happening this week
  for the upper school and the sixth form. Some
  of these events will continue over the next few
  weeks.
