Council Member Networking

• Currently working with Misty Giles concerning
  Senate Bill 136, Immigration and Customs
  Enforcement (ICE) REPAT
• Attended the Superior Court Judicial Conference
  on January 22nd, 2009 in Athens, GA.
• Probation plans to speak with Representative Cox
  concerning law proposal

Training

• Massive training initiative was completed in
  September, 2008 for ICOTS implementation
• Kimberly Jones continues to train field
  personnel
• Continue to train Parole and Probation Officers
  and Counselors at basic
• Judicial Training

New Parole Board Member and Commissioner of
Corrections

• General Donald is the most recently appointed
  Board Member.
• Mr. Brian Owens was appointed the Commissioner
  of Corrections, following General Donalds
  appointment to the Parole Board.

ICAOS Rules Committee Appointment

• Effective April 23, 2009, David Morrison will be
  appointed to the ICAOS Rules Committee
