Creating User Accounts in Blackboard 6

Step 1

• Go to the Academy website on the internet
  (http//www.irvingisd.net/academy/)

• Click on the Blackboard Link

• Click on the Create button

• On the next page, you are REQUIRED to fill out
  the following information only...
• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address (use a school appropriate address,
  please)
• Username (use the same name you use on your
  computer)
• Password

• All other fields may be left blank.
• When finished providing the required information,
  click the Submit button at the very bottom
  right corner of the page.

• Click OK on the next page.

• You have now created your own BlackBoard 6
  account.
• You are automatically logged in after completing
  the account enrollment process.
• When finished creating an account, you will come
  to your Welcome screen.

• When finished, with BlackBoard click the
  log-out icon to end your session.
