Emergency Contacts When a user is reporting an
emergency, this list of Emergency Contacts will
be displayed for the user to select who should
receive a notification message about the
emergency. The addresses listed here were either
manually entered by a user, or automatically
entered because a user added them when filling
out an emergency report. The "name" field is
optional but may help to identify who the
recipient is. By marking the address as
"mandatory", someone reporting an emergency will
always send a copy of the emergency message to
that recipient leaving the mandatory checkbox
empty will give the user the ability to select
the user or not when filling out an emergency
report.
Additional Help
Emergency Plans Documents School and District
users have the ability to upload documents and
files to the SEMRS system which are related to
emergency preparedness and procedures. These
files are made available to other users who have
access to this school, but they are not made
available to the public. The exceptions of course
are the Emergency Plan document, the Building
Blueprints document and the Emergency Contact
instructions for parents that a school will
purposefully make available.
