National Youth Service Day Activity

What we did

• Met with Morgan and decided on activity
• Shared preparation responsibilities
• Gathered supplies and set up display
• Two stations at our table to work with kids each
  had 4-5 sets of materials
• Kids learned how to measure, what happens to the
  whipping cream that is used, importance of dairy
  in the diet, difference between margarine and
  butter
• Talked with kids while making butter
• Cleaned up from the day

SUCCESS!

• Teamwork we organized and planned well
• Youth enjoyed seeing the butter form and tasting
  (most were brave enough)!
• Got Milk? Display was attractive and eye catching
