The prophets of old taught that hell was a real
place.
David mentions hell as a real place. Psalm 917
Daniel also taught of a place of future
punishment. Daniel 122

I. Hell is a real place.
Most of the teaching concerning Hell as a real
place was done by Jesus.
Jesus referred to hell as everlasting punishment.
Matt. 2541 46
John the Baptist refers to it as a complete
engulfment in fire. Matt. 311
The apostle Peter also taught that Hell is a real
place. 2 Pet. 24-9

II. The punishment of hell.
It is a place of separation (from God).
It is a place described as full of darkness,
weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matt. 2530
Place of death. Rev. 218 Rom. 623
It is a place of tribulation and anguish. Rom.

It is referred to as a place where there is no
relief. Rev. 2010 Mark 945-46

People like
