Your class is in charge of finding two quality
speakers to participate in your schools Career
Day next month. To find speakers, your class
decided to put an ad in the local newspaper.

What a response! Twenty people are interested
in participating in Career Day. Now, your
class must decide which of the applicants will
best fill the two available slots.

Your class decides to ask each of the applicants
to write a short paragraph describing their
skills and talents. Four semi-finalists have
been chosen by your teacher.

four paragraphs and decide which two applicants
should present at Career Day.

class on the 2 most important qualities on your
list. Jot these qualities in your journal.

addition to fighting fires, I regularly visit
schools and businesses to talk about the
importance of using smoke detectors in homes and
other buildings.
