A word about NCCI

• A national business sector representative body
• Over 2,000 members across the country
• Branches countrywide, providing services to
  businesses of all types
• Main mandate is to advocate the interests of
  business in Namibia
• We also provide wide range of services to make
  business environment rewarding to business
• Provide support to MTI for trade and investment
  promotion

• Consultations among key stakeholders in Namibian
  economy is very common
• NCCI serves as representative of the private
  sector in dialogue with Government
• Dialogue focus primarily on strategies for
  improving business environment in Namibia
• We also discuss policy and legislative matters
  affecting Business Namibia
• Government always prepared to listen and engage
  the business sector

  terms
• Predictability of policy and regulatory
  environment
• Sound and reliable financial services sector
• Excellent relationship between Government and
  business sector

• We can do better in certain areas especially in
  service delivery both in public and private
  sectors
• WEF points to business registration, access to
  land, lack of skills, etc which need improvement
• But challenges which may face business can always
  be addressed
• Overall, Namibia is a good place to do business in
