Statement and Request
  • The PBAC Finance and Budget Committed has
    completed a situation analysis, the results of
    which have compelled us to offer a recommendation
    for FY09 Fee and Tuition increases for GSU.
  • We ask that this document be presented to PBAC
    for its approval and forwarding to the President.

FY09 Tuition Waivers
  • Current Practice GSU assesses tuition for
    non-resident students at 3 times the rate for
    resident students, and waives full tuition at the
    assessed rate regardless of student residency
    status
  • Proposal Limit the amount of tuition waived for
    all students, regardless of residency status, to
    100 of the assessed rate for resident students
  • Effect Recapture about 250K each year in
    waived tuition and fees
