  • In some markets, Immigration Professionals play a
major role during all phases of the immigration
    process
  • New Brunswick is prepared to work with bona fide
    Immigration Professionals
  • Immigration Professionals are expected to
  • pre-screen their clients thereby ensuring that
the prospective immigrants meet or exceed all New
    Brunswick PNP requirements
  • take part in the total PNP process including the
    exploratory visits and retention/settlement
    related activities
  • New Brunswick is in the process of developing
guidelines that will clarify the role of
Immigration Professionals in the PNP process

22
Future of the PNP
  • It appears that CIC is satisfied with the general
    direction of the PNP
  • NB is satisfied with the initial results going
    in the right direction
  • Learning curve
  • The real jury is still out (retention)
