Introductory Letter
  • The student creates a thesis statement and a
    graphic organizer of the reasons why he prefers
    to read fiction or nonfiction with supporting
    examples from his reading. The student will
    submit this planning step before drafting the
    letter to me. The student then critiques his own
    paper, and the teacher does likewise using the
    same teacher-created peer reviewing guide before
    the student submits a final draft.
