First you must know your licensing agreement and
SPD
  • The agreement is a legal document determining the
    relationship between the licensor and the
    licensee
  • The Specific Project Description spells out your
    sector, field or area of operation (as per next
    slide), spells out the specific training and
    other requirements for licensing
  • The Procedures describe how you need to operate
    as a licensee.

Next you must decide on the scope of your
licensing agreement
  • What sector are you going to work in?
  • What territory are you going to cover?
  • What products are you going to be licensed for?
  • How many other licensees are already in that
    sector or territory?
  • Do you want exclusive rights?
  • Could two or more licensees combine efforts?
