Our relationship is broken

• "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of
  God" Romans 323
• Sin not only turns us from our God, but it also
  turns us from ourselves. As we sin, we become
  less and less what God created us to be and, in
  our sin, we slowly die. Sin stops you from being
  the person you were created to be. It binds you,
  inhibits you, slowly hardens your heart and numbs
  your spirit. If you keep sinning, ultimately you
  get used to it.

How can we receive this gift?
Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. I
admit that I have broken my relationship with you
through my sins. Thank you for dying for my sins
so that our relationship can be restored. I open
the door of my heart and acknowledge you as my
Saviour and Lord. Direct my life and help me
become the person you want me to be. Amen.
