General Work Flow

• Import Data
• Create Experiment
• Quality Control
• Analyze Data

Import Data

• From FilegtImport Data
• Browse and select your raw data files (tab
  delimit data or in Excel format)
• Add data files to GeneSpring
• Or, you can drag/drop your data files to
  GeneSpring window

Create Experiment

• Create Experiment and save into a sub folder with
  your name
• Normalization your data
• Define parameters
• Create experiment interpretation

Normalize data

• Transformation of data less than 10.00 to 10.00
• Per chip normalization
• Per gene normalization
• Or, you can select other normalization

Define Parameter

• The default parameter is Files.
• You can add new parameters to group your
  files/data if you have replicates

Create Interpretation

• Select the parameter you want to display in the
  window by choosing continues
• Set other parameters as do not display
• Save each interpretation

Quality Control

• Filter on flag
• Filter on expression level
• Choose the default interpretation and select it
  as Not continues to see the histogram of each
  files. Most genes should lay on the center

Analyze data

• Filter on fold change
• One-way ANOVA
• Clustering
