A number of things were intentional

• Not discussing OpenGL during lecture
• The course has to strike a balance between theory
  (in lecture) and applicability (via the
  homeworks)
• Requiring HW 1 to use OpenGL, and only giving a
  week to do it
• Giving you the lecture talks towards the end of
  the semester

Thoughts on the homeworks

• HW 1 Rotating textured square
• HW 2 Tank game
• HW 3 Ray tracer
• HW 4 Rubiks cube
• HW 5 NPR

Things to improve upon next time

• HW 3
• I want you to spend time with the ray tracing
  part, not worrying about how bitmapps are written
  to file
• Next time, Im considering giving more skeleton
  code
• But you learned a lot in the HW!
• Different ideas for lectures
• Movies, different topics, etc.
