Further Relaxing the Requirements for the
Issuance of Certificate of Registration and
License to Sell
12
HLURB Resolution 748 s. 2003
  • DAR Conversion Order no longer required as a
precondition for issuance of Certificate of
Registration and License to Sell a in cases where
the property involved is located in an area
    already classified as residential, commercial,
industrial or similar development purposes as
provided in CLUPs approved pursuant to EO 72 s.
    1993

13
HLURB Resolution 748 s. 2003
  • Conditions
  • Land must be classified as non-agricultural
    pursuant to approved CLUP/Zoning Ordinance
  • Grantees must still comply with existing laws
    (e.g. DAR Conversion)

14
Rationale for HLURB Resolution 748
  • Lands already classified as residential,
    commercial, industrial and other similar
    development purposes in CLUPs/Zoning Ordinances
approved by the Board or Sangguniang Panlalawigan
    are no longer agricultural
  • EO 72 s. 1993

15
Rationale for HLURB Resolution 748
  • Issuance of Certificate of Registration and
License to Sell by Board does not exempt
grantees from compliance with and is without
prejudice to the provisions of existing laws

Rationale for HLURB Resolution 748
  • PD 957 does not explicitly require DAR Conversion
Certificate as a requirement for issuance of

Rationale for HLURB Resolution 748

compliance to the requirements of other agencies.
