What it looks like

• It has a very big shell. It has two antennae.
• It can go up to 7 pounds.

• They mostly live on the sand along Puget Sound
  beaches.

What it Eats/What Eats it

• It eats clams, mussels, and oysters.
• It is eaten by sunflower stars.

Amazing facts

• It can use its tongue to drill a hole in a shell
  and then suck out the soft, fleshy body.
• Moon snails lay thousands and thousands of tiny
  eggs which are mixed with sand and a sticky glue
  to form a collar.
