15How can schools get ULNs?
4 Register Learners using SIF (Future)
16Summary
- MIAP launches an operational Learner Registration
Service in September 2007 - Schools entering learners for diplomas in 2008-09
will require ULNs - Suppliers will include space for ULN
- By October 2008 it is expected that schools will
be able to use the KeyToSuccess service and CTF
mechanism to get the ULNs for learners
pre-registered via the school census and NPD - Suppliers are working towards being able to
provide schools with a permanent solution via
MIAP Portal , API or SIF. - In the longer term, schools will want to access
ULNs e.g. to understand how their pupils
progress to support third party to third party
data sharing eg with Connexions or awarding
bodies.
