HOW TO START

• Each player sits on one side of the board and has
  5 shields and 1 Calla
• The Calla (The Goal) is the Circle to the
  players right side of the board
• A coin toss determines who goes first
• 15 minute game limit
• 1 minute per person per move
• The game starts with 4 pieces in the center
  shield and 3 pieces in the other shields. The
  Calla is empty.

Playing Calla

• A coin toss determines who starts
• The first player picks up all the pieces in any
  one of their shields
• Then the pieces are laid down one by one into
  each shield going counter clockwise around the
  board
• Players alternate taking turns

Rules while playing Calla

• When laying pieces down, you can not place a
  piece in the opponents calla.you skip it and
  continue going counter-clockwise until all of
  your pieces have been laid down.
• You can place a piece in your calla

Rules while playing Calla

• If your last piece lands in your calla, you get
  another turn
• If your last piece lands in one of your empty
  shields, then you capture your opponents pieces
  in the shield directly across from yours. Then,
  you do not get another turn
• Those pieces go directly into your calla

Object of the game

• First person with 17 pieces in their calla wins
  or..
• Whoever has the most pieces in their calla at the
  end of 15 minutes wins
• A tie is declared if both sides have 16 pieces
