    and Song of Solomon.)
  • It follows various poetic forms

  • A line strengthens, develops, reinforces or
    repeats the line before it.
  • Matthew 77-8 Ask, and it shall be given you
    seek, and ye shall find knock, and it shall be
    opened unto you For every one that asketh
    receiveth and he that seeketh findeth and to
    him that knocketh it shall be opened.
  • Matthew 77-8 does not present 3 steps or types
    of prayer, but different ways of saying the same
    thing. The verses express that "God answers our
    prayer " by way of synonymous parallelism.
