Student Affairs Mission
  • The mission of the Division of Student Affairs at
    Ferris State University is to promote, support,
    and complement the academic mission of the
    institution by working collaboratively with
    students, faculty, and staff to create and extend
    student services and student learning

  • Assist staff commuting from each campus.

  • Engage in systematic, ongoing assessment in order
    to improve our student services/activities.
  • Given declining resources, our decisions need to
    be increasingly data informed.
  • Assessment data helps us decide whether to
    increase or decrease funding to particular
    activities, based on their effectiveness.

Centralized Ferris State University Calendar
  • Ted Halm, University Advancement and Marketing,
    is launching a new and improved university-wide
    calendaring system.
  • This calendaring system will centralize calendar
    inputs, and showcase all major University
    events/activities and information pertaining to
    them.
