Background . . .
Formed in 1992 by Stephen Roberts.
The business moved to its purpose built
manufacturing and warehousing site in 2002.
Due to continuing success and ongoing growth
this facility was expanded by approximately 50
in 2008.

Background . . .
After 16 years of trading Turnstyle Designs
continues to thrive and expand, introducing new
products annually.
As the reputation for design, quality and service
spreads, so does the client base both
geographically and by industry sector.

Turnstyle in America . . .
We have been exporting to the USA for the past 12
years.
We currently have in excess of 150 authorised
dealers across the USA.
We have a network of reps backed up by a USA
dedicated sales team.
We can supply all our levers in a US pre bore set
up. Hardware is supplied with Baton tubular
latches or deadbolts.

Environmental statement . . .
We endeavour to keep waste to a minimum and
recycling to a maximum.
All office stationery and packaging is reused or
recycled. Outward packaging is 95 recyclable.
Our leather is vegetable tanned as opposed to
chromium dyed.
We manufacture locally thus reducing our carbon
footprint.
Our energy is bought from renewable sources.
Brochures are printed on PEFC sourced paper.

Materials . . .
LEATHER We only use the very best vegetable
tanned, full grain, drum dyed bridle leather.
Tactile and seductive there is nothing better
than the feel and smell of real leather. A
natural choice for handles.
COMPOSITE Our unique composite blends have
become one of our trademarks. Incredibly
versatile and durable, each piece is hand cast
and finished. Every piece is unique with its own
individually crafted character and charm.
BRASS We use a host of manufacturing processes
to produce the best results, including hot
forging, wire forming, stamping and turning.
Whatever the method, it is the finishing that
counts and our finishes are superb.

Leather . . .
Door levers, knobs and pulls, Saville cabinet
handles are individually hand stitched and
bonded.
Cabinet hardware is machine stitched and bonded.
Both highly skilled crafts.
Standard Finishes Black, Chestnut, Chocolate,
Jazz Red, Racing Green, Yachting Blue

Composite . . .
All our composites are made from a closely
guarded blend of resins mixed with core
ingredients.
All composite finishes (with the exception of
bone) are suitable for interior and exterior
applications.
Standard Finishes Alupewt, Black Bronze, Bone,
Cocoa, Ebony, Library Green, Lifeguard Red,
Turnstyle Blue

Brass . . .
The vast majority of our base components are
manufactured in brass. Brass is a versatile
material and produces high quality finishes.
STANDARD FINISHES
Satin Nickel an un-brushed satin to ensure a
flat, even finish. Compliments all our composite
and leather finishes perfectly.
Polished Nickel an un-lacquered classic finish.
A beautiful blend with ebony and cocoa. Not
suitable for external applications.
Bright Chrome a hard wearing, reliable classic.
Easy to match with existing hardware and great
for contemporary settings.
Dark Bronze a rich living finish with a
lacquered patina over a copper base. Designed
to change with age where handled.

Assembly . . .
All our products are assembled to order based on
client specification.
Lead times depend on the product range selected
but in general will be two or four weeks.

Having original designs and superb quality is
nothing without the service to back it up. At
Turnstyle we pride ourselves on giving 100
effort to every customers requirements and
demands.

Order process . . .
1. Dealer accepts order from client
2. Order is sent to Turnstyle Designs by fax,
e-mail or via our website
3. Order is reviewed and entered on to our
internal processing system
4. An order confirmation will be faxed or emailed
to you. Please check this in line with your
original order
5. The order is scheduled and goes into production
6. The assembled order is quality checked and
then packed for dispatch
7. The order is shipped direct to the dealer

Lead times . . .
All our products are hand made and are held in
stock, in component form. Products are hand
finished to customer order.
Current lead time for stocked items is
approximately 2 weeks from order. Please check
order confirmations for delivery estimates.
For non stocked items such as hand stitched
leather cabinet hardware, dark bronze and
polished nickel finishes please allow 4 to 6
weeks lead time.

Delivery . . .
We ship daily around the world from our warehouse
in England using UPS delivery services
Our client base is spread across the world. We
export to Australia, New Zealand, USA, UAE,
France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Denmark,
Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Turkey, Hong
Kong, Singapore, South Africa and many other
locations.
