Talmadge Atkins

• I am a 23-year-old young man who is intelligent
  and has a complex seizure disorder, complicated
  with neurological problems diagnosed as cerebral
  palsy.
• Regardless, I am an athlete.

• This is my familymy sister Eleanor, my father
  Ted, my mother Georgia and me!
• They are extremely supportive of me.

How I got started

• My long-time swim teacher, Julie Swail Ertel,
  took me swimming in the ocean.
• I loved it!
