- The ASU-Maricopa Alliance was initiated in 2004
to - Provide coordinated student services
- Guarantee course transferability
- Increase degree completion at both institutions
- The Alliance was expanded to include the
Maricopa-ASU Pathways Program (MAPP) in December
2008.

- Alliance is the umbrella relationship between ASU
and the Maricopa Community Colleges. - MAPP is one component of the Alliance.

- Academic preparation is the single most important
determinant of student success. - Academically prepared transfer students perform
as well as native university students.

Student meets with Maricopa advisor after October
1st to sign up for MAPP
Student has up to 3 years to complete the MAPP
Student transfers to ASU to complete bachelors
degree

Prospective transfer students may meet with an
advisor to talk about the transfer process.
