PBS and IST

• Both use problem-solving process
• Both are data-based
• Both have teams that meet regularly
• PBS addresses school-wide issues, as well as
  targeted students
• IST involves collaborative problem-solving
  between case manager and teacher, focus is on
  targeted student although entire class can
  benefit from strategies.
