Liquid Phase Purification

• From our experience obtained in LP studies, we
  know that water contamination affects most the
  absorption of scintillation light.
• Water can be removed by using molecular sieves.
• Improve circulation speed
• Gas phase purification 5-6cc/minute (in liquid)
• Reduce heat load during purification
• Gas phase purification needs liquefaction of
  purified gas

Status

• Fluid pump was delivered to a Japanese
  manufacturer.
• The pump and purifier cartridge are being
  assembled for verification test.
• Verification test will be performed by using the
  LP.
