  • Do you like bowling? Are you interested in
    helping make a BIG difference in a child's life?
  • Form a team of coworkers, roommates, friends or
    classmates to help support the biggest
    fundraising event of the year for Big Brothers
    Big Sisters.
  • The Bowl for Kids' Sake event takes place on
    April 24th in St. Johns, May 1 in Owosso, May 7
    8 in Lansing

  • Working hard to increase diversity and
    recruitment for PRSSA, we are in the planning
    stages of a potential new E-Board position as
    well as the roles the position would entail
  • If you are interested in helping with this
    initiative, please see Jenni Lewis after the
    meeting

  • Our mission is to support and mobilize members of
    diverse groups, in addition to introducing them
    to the benefits of joining the Public Relations
    Student Society of America, who are, but not
    limited to racial and ethnic minorities, the
    LGBT and disabled communities as well as graduate
    and transfer students at Michigan State
    University. We are committed to educating,
    enlightening and preparing those entering the
    workforce with the knowledge that is so crucial
    in understanding one another in a unique society.
    By giving educated information about various
    groups through the use of speakers and students
    from certain diverse communities, we will provide
    and encourage opportunities to gain professional
    development and show responsibility as a future
    public relations professional.

  • Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March
    20.
  • Send application to James Roney at
    roney.jamesp_at_gmail.com and Kate Koltvedt at
    koltvedt_at_msu.edu. Attaching extra sheets is
    acceptable, if necessary.
  • The person applying for the scholarship must
  • 1. Be a PRSSA member in the Ned S. Hubbell
    Chapter at MSU
  • 2. Have junior standing (56 credits) at MSU by
    Fall 2008
  • 3. Have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA at the
    time of application

  • Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March
    20. E-mail form to James Roney at
    roney.jamesp_at_gmail.com and Kate Koltvedt at
    koltvedt_at_msu.edu. Attaching extra sheets is
    acceptable, if necessary.
  • The person nominated must
  • 1. Be a PRSSA member in the Ned S. Hubbell
    Chapter at MSU
  • 2. Have at least junior standing at MSU by Fall
    2008
