• Pour some hydrogen peroxide into a test tube.
• Note the bubbles. The hydrogen peroxide breaks
  down naturally but very slowly.
• Add a spatula of manganese oxide, an inorganic
  catalyst. What happens?
• What has happened to the hydrogen peroxide?
• What has happened to the manganese oxide?

• Pour some hydrogen peroxide over the yeast.
• How does this reaction compare to the one with
  manganese oxide.?
• What happens to the yeast?
