Title: If I was Prime Minister '

1
If I was Prime Minister .
2
Rejection of Inclusion
  • Inclusion is the idea that all children should be
educated in the same state school like everyone
else. But as is not the case with physical
disabilities when a child has autism or ADHD,
severe behavioural problems, our schools are not
resourced and our teachers not trained to deal
with them and aide them to reach their full
    potential.
  • Children are often statemented in reception and
the school should then be given a reasonable
amount of encouragement to inform the parents
that their child would be better off in a
specialised state school where their child can be
properly catered for, rather than a in state
school that just do not have the capabilities or
knowledge and often the child will be
misdiagnosed and failed by the school.
  • They should be removed from main stream school
and placed in a different more suitable school,
with smaller classes, proper resources and
    properly trained staff.

Withdrawal from the EU
  • The EU is unproductive, undemocratic and
excessive. I see no benefits from closer EU
integration and following the rejection of the
EU constitution it shows a division in Europe and
the time has come for the European Union to be
    dissolved.
  • The ideal would be to see the fall of the EU in a
way that favours our European counterparts and
ourselves, in the retention of Free Trade and
economic stability although not necessarily the
Euro. And also reaching out to the Eastern
European countries but not in this outdated form.
  • National values are of utmost importance the
ideal of a federal Europe is outdated and
unworkable. We should withdraw from the EU and
stop paying into the EU and start investment in
our public services sending the money where it
    really needs to go.

Limits on Asylum and Immigration
  • Its a chaotic system that needs reform and
strict quotas, its not racist its just being
practical, we are only a small island and cannot
    accommodate so many
  • We are an island and should operate as one, we
need 24 hrs surveillance on our borders bring
    in a Border Control Police
  • Place annual quotas on the amount, set every year
by parliament reviewed if there is a reason for
example an humanitarian crisis that involves
allowing more to seek refuge from a certain
    country.
  • Also, Stop draining other countries of their
professionals, if we need doctors and nurses then
we should go about training up our own people
because more often than not we are taking them
irresponsibly from places that need them more.
One solution that is possible, if we need doctors
or teachers make the qualifications they need
free, a seven year medical degree will be quite
    expensive.

Block proposals of Reform of House of Lords
  • The House of Lords should remain the subordinate
chamber and should remain unelected. It should
be the detailed debating chamber free from the
pressures of being suitable for election and free
from the party whips. If elected it will be no
more than House of Commons part 2, rushed and
    intimidated by the executive.
  • The Law Lords should retain their Highest Court
role, plans of a Supreme Court would be scrapped.
  • The Lords should have a life peerage which when
they retire their place is put up to an unbiased
committee, to which the retired Lord can suggest
replacements, Appointments should be made on
achievements, for example head teachers, doctors
and ex-politicians who served the community and
country, not their party. Appointments not made
    by the PM.

Introduce the death penalty.
  • Change the way we punish murderers. The life
sentence would still stand for murder but when
the crime is of pure motive to kill and to
inflict death on another human being then the
    sentence should be death. Encourage
responsibility for their actions and that if
people commit such heinous crimes they will be
punished, they cannot be rehabilitated. It
wouldnt be very many and guilt would be proven
beyond all reasonable doubt, forensics etc.
  • Death by lethal injection, in one unknown
location that if revealed would be moved, to
    avoid media hype.
