4Whats included in the game?
- One gameboard (in two files)
- Ten game pieces (members of the Corps of
Discovery) - Two round spinners (standard and advanced)
- 35 Question cards (in 6 MS Word files)
- 15 Event cards (in 1 Ms Word files)
5How To Build the Gameboard
- First, copy and print the gameboard files
- Left half of board gameboard 1001.jpg
- Right half of board gameboard 2002.jpg
6Match up the two pieces and glue them on a large
cardboard sheet.

- First print out the Gamecard files(They are
saved in MS Word, click below)Gamecards

4.doc - Then, fold the Gamecard page in half vertically
and cut out the cards. Fasten the loose edge
with glue or a staple.
9Make the spinner
- There are two different spinners for this game
The Standard Spinner and The Advanced Spinner. - Download and print the Spinner files(They are

10Make the spinner (cont)
- Cut out the spinners and attach them to round oak
tag or cardboard (paper plates work too). - Make a pointer out of oak tag and fasten it to
the center of the spinner (make sure it stays
loose enough to spin)
11Cut out the Game Pieces
- Download and print the game pieces.
- Cut out the pieces and glue them to oak tag or

12Game Play
- 2 to 4 students can play at once.
- Each player picks a game piece and places it at
Camp Wood. - Players determine order of play (who goes first,
second, etc.).
13Game Play
- First player spins the spinner and, depending
where it points, takes a Question Card, takes an
Event Card, or moves the distance indicated.
14Players take turns spinning and moving their
game pieces along the Lewis and Clark Trail (in
red).
15The first player to reach Fort Clatsop wins the
game. The remaining players may choose to
continue to determine second, third and fourth
place.
